Marie “Tootsie” Lucille (Epolito) Colston, 83, of Brocton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning February 18 at ECMC hospital in Buffalo after a brief illness. Marie was born in Dunkirk, NY December 16, 1934. She was a 1952 graduate of Fredonia Central School. She was one of three children born to Samuel and Nina (St George) Epolito of Prospect St. Fredonia.
Marie worked at Liberty Bank and Niagara Therapy in Brocton and Decilio’s Truck Company (now Penske’s) in Fredonia. She was a member of St Patrick’s RC Church in Brocton where she served as a member of the Rosary society. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her 2 children and their families.
Marie was predeceased by her husband Fred (Rebel) Colston and sister Grace Rizzo.
Marie is survived by her brother Sam (Elaine) Epolito, her son Michael (Susan) Colston, her daughter Tina Colston, her five grandchildren; Kyle Smith, Emily Colston, Shane Smith, Samantha Colston, and Cody Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday morning at 10 am, February 21, 2018 from St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church in Brocton, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Romeo Hontiveros. Interment will follow at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave. Brocton, New York from 3 to 7 pm on Tuesday February 20, 2018.
