Paul R. Dunn, 85 years old, of Brocton, New York, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 11, 2017 at the Absolute Care of Westfield after a short illness.
He was born in Westover, Maryland, on March 5, 1932, and was the son of the late Russell and Flora Foster Dunn. He has lived in this area most of his life. He was a retired truck driver from the Wooster Motor Lines of North East, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Dunn served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956. His memberships included the John W.Dill Post 434, the Westfield Moose and the V.F.W.
He enjoyed farming, trucks, and tractors.
Surviving are two sons, Paul R. Dunn of Brocton and Joseph Dunn of Port-land; one brother, Richard Dunn of Victoria, Texas; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceding him in death, besides his parents, are two brothers, Stanley Dunn and William Dunn; and a sister, Hazel Dunn Landing.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, March 15, at 11 a.m. from the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Avenue, Brocton, NY. The Rev. Mark Parsons will officiate. Military Honors will follow. Interment will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Tuesday evening, March 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
