Queen Crescent Carey, 83 years old of Brocton, New York passed away late Tuesday evening November 8, 2016 at Absolut of Westfield, New York after an extended illness. She was born in Brocton, New York on November 10, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Veronica Hoag Scott and has lived in this area her entire life. She spent her life as a Homemaker. Queen belonged to the Brocton Baptist Church of Brocton, New York. She also loved her various crafts , she loved her Bible and she loved her Church.
Queen is survived by three grandchildren Gerardo (Rhonda) Morales of North Carolina, Olivia Maria Steckman of North Dakota and Jose (Brianna) Morales Jr. of North Dakota ; three step daughters Eva Brisk of Canada, Marilyn Carey of Connecticut and Mary Brisk of Maine and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Carey whom she married on June 22, 1963 and who passed away on November 2, 2011 and one daughter Bonnie Morales who passed away in 1996. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon November 12, 2016 at 2 pm from the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton, New York. The Rev. Larry Morrison will officiate. Interment will be in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. There will be visitation for family and friends from 1 to 2 pm at the Morse Funeral Home, one hour prior to the funeral service.
