Wendy Lee Woleben 53 years old of Pullman St. in Brocton, New York passed away on Sunday evening July 19, 2015 after an extended illness at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania surrounded by her loving family.
Wendy was born in Westfield, New York on October 13, 1962 and was the daughter of the late Melvin Noftsker Sr. and Winifred Noftsker Colt. She had been a resident of this area her entire life. She was a graduate of Brocton, Central School and a graduate of Jamestown Business College. She had also attended Jamestown Community College. Wendy was a homemaker and was also a former employee of the former Ames Store and Twin Fair Store of Dunkirk, New York and she was last employed at Big Lots in Fredonia, New York. Wendy was a member of The Brocton Baptist Church of Brocton, New York. Besides spending time with her family, Wendy loved vacations.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Woleben of Brocton, New York and two sons Justin(Autumn) Woleben of Brocton, New York and Mathew Woleben of Brocton, New York and one grandchild Joshua. Wendy is also survived by her mother Winifred Noftsker Colt of Brocton, New York; two brothers Daniel Noftsker of Brocton, New York and Charles Noftsker of Cape Coral, Florida. Besides her Father Melvin Noftsker, she was predeceased by one brother Melvin Noftsker Jr. and one sister Mrs. Marilyn Noftsker .
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11 am from the Brocton Baptist Church 33 West Main St., Brocton, N.Y. The Rev. Larry Morrison will officiate. Interment will follow at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Brocton, New York on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9.
