Nancy D. Woleben, 69 years old, of Fredonia, New York, passed away Friday evening, March 20, 2015 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, New York, after a lengthy illness and with her loving family at her side.
Nancy was born on January 3, 1946 in Silver Creek, New York, to the late Elmer and Mary Wirtner Loup. She had lived in this area her entire life. She was a graduate of Brocton Central School. Nancy worked as a custodian at SUNY Fredonia, Fredonia, New York, up until her retirement. Besides her family, Nancy had a great love of and enjoyed animals, especially her dog, Peggy.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald Woleben; one daughter, Kim (Gene) Cook of Westfield, New York, and one son, Scott (Kelly) Woleben of Silver Creek, New York; and four grandchildren, Stephanie and Derek Cook and Brady and Matt Woleben. Nancy is also survived by one brother, Stanley Loup of California, and one sister, Mrs. Judy Marsh of Fredonia, New York. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Patricia Murphy.
There will be no visitation and a Memorial Service for Nancy will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorials can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association or the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue. Funeral Arrangements were conducted by the Morse Funeral Home of Brocton, New York.
