James "Jim" Delcamp, 65 years old, of Webster Road in Brocton, New York died unexpectedly on Wednesday March 18, 2015.
He was born on June 9, 1949 in Westfield, New York, the son of the late Ralph and Genevieve Palmer Delcamp. He lived in this area his entire life. He was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.
Jim was the retired former Transportation Supervisor of the Brocton Central School District. He was also the owner/ operator of Jim's Repair. Earlier in his life he had been employed at the Chautauqua County Home and Templeton Energy. Jim was also the founder of the Chautauqua County Antique Association. He was a member of the Dunkirk Moose and was a former member of the Stockton Fire Department. Jim also enjoyed camping with his children and grandchildren and restoring antique tractors.
Jim was the loving husband to Debra Delcamp; father to Marcie (Jeff) Kelwaski of Westfield, New York, Jamie Vacanti and Ken of Brocton, New York, Tonya Cornelius of Westfield, New York and Tim (Cathy) Gillis of Niagara Falls, New York. Jim is also survived by eight grandchildren, Makayla Vacanti, Jena Vacanti, Derek Kelwaski, Sara Kelwaski, Alec Lin‑nan, Mitchell Linnan, Sabrina Gillis and Paige Cornelius. He is also survived by two brothers Alan (Debora) Delcamp and Robert (Robin) Delcamp; and two sisters, Darlene (Ronald) Bush and Mary (Leo) Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning March 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. from the Portland Congre‑gational Church, 8649 Church St. in Portland, New York with viewing in church one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Gordon Spiller will officiate. Interment will follow at the Stockton Greenwood Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 High‑land Ave in Brocton, New York on Friday March 20, 2015 from 2‑4 and 7‑9.
