Bert Roy Delcamp, 84 years old of Silver Creek, New York passed away on Tuesday afternoon November 3, 2015 at the Gowanda Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.
He was born on June 21, 1931 in Dewitville, New York and was the son of the late Bert and Mildred Schrader Delcamp. Bert had been an area resident all of his life. He had been employed as a production worker at Cliffstar Corp. and had previously worked for Marsh Valve and Dunkirk Radiator. Besides his family Bert loved gardening , hunting and camping.
He is survived by three daughters Cynthia (Roger) Anderson of Fredonia, New York, Tricia (Gerald) Rice Jr. of Silver Creek, New York and Tracy Burdic of Missouri, one son Kevin Delcamp of Silver Creek, New York. Twelve grandchildren and Four great-grandchildren, one brother Wayne (Susan) Delcamp of Brocton, New York and five sisters Mrs. Winifred Colt of Brocton,New York, Mrs Esther (Dean) Noel of Florida, Mrs Belva Burton of Portland New York, Mrs. Rachel Marczynski of Dunkirk, New York and Mrs. Diana Giambra (Joseph) of Brocton, New York. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Lewis Delcamp whom he married December 26, 1956 and who passed away in 1999 and by five brothers Emerson, Dewey, Vincent, Merle, and Edwin Delcamp and one sister Mrs. Shirley Becker.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning November 7, 2015 at 11 am from the Fellowship Church, West Main St. Brocton, New York. The Rev, Sandy Ball will officiate. Interment will be private. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home 51 Highland Ave. Brocton, New York on Friday evening November 6, 2015 from 7-9 pm.
